Projects

With the support of our partners, and a high commitment of the local community, we are proud of our achievements and contributions:

Project: Ak-Suu Children's Hospital

Help 4’000 Children yearly in a rehabilitation clinic in Kyrgyzstan, to become healthy with the support of renewable cleantech Energy!

Children`s rehabilitation department (CRD) of the Issyk-Kul regional united hospital is the unique medical center which is specialized in providing medical treatment at all types of Cerebral palsy diseases in Kyrgyzstan. It is located in Ak-Suu village, Issyk-Kul oblast (province), Kyrgyzstan, on the northern slope of the Teskey-Alatau ridge, in a narrow gorge, in the valley of the Ak-Suu River, in 19 km far from the regional center of Karakol city.
1
The main scope of treatment in the CRD is all types of Cerebral palsy. The positive effect of rehabilitation treatment occurs in the following diseases: cerebral palsy (CP) - with the course of treatment three times with an interval of 6 months; Peripheral disorders (PD) of the central nervous system (neuritis, sciatica, myelitis) with an interval of 6 months 2-3 times; Chronic osteomyelitis (CO) - fistulous form after a single treatment; Neurosis (stuttering, tics, enuresis) - a positive effect after 1-2 times of treatment. Children`s Rehabilitation Department hosts an average of up to 4 000 children every year. Many families bring their children for treatment from all 7 oblasts (province) of the country. However, the majority of children have to wait a long list for treatment due to a lack of accommodation capacity of the CRD.
2
In total, 72 people are working in the CRD: 10 doctors with higher medical education, 36,5 specialists with secondary medical education, 25,5 other staff (out of them 90% are women).
3
As of today, the CRD needs repairing of the ventilation system of the physiotherapy sub-department, it is due to the regular use of hot radon water in medical treatment procedures and thus causes mold and destruction of the housing structures, especially during a cold period. Cleantech helps us in the future.
4

Another major problem is the reconstruction of the heating system. The CRD may significantly reduce the costs for electricity use and therefore to use the full potential of its housings during wintertime, by installing modern heating technologies. In 2018, CRD is used 478,000 kWh of the electrical energy, having spent the sum of 1,200,000 Kyrgyz soms ($17,191).
5
Also, they do not have a special playground for playing and having leisure. As per doctors, these kind of activities are very useful for children after their daily treatment procedures, physical movements are desirable for children after the procedures and massage.
6
Many opportunities will be created for children with disabilities to be treated in good conditions if we invest and help the Children`s Rehabilitation Department of the Issyk-Kul Regional United Hospital.
7This campaign was initiated by Public Fund AVEP and the Children`s Rehabilitation Department of the Issyk-Kul Regional United Hospital in Ak-Suu (CRD), with the support of cleantech project donations association for cleantech renewable energy. The aim of this campaign is to raise a fund in purpose to provide support for every child with Cerebral Palsy so that they receive timely and quality medical treatment at the CRD.

Therefore, the raised funds, from anyone who is indifferent to the children with Cerebral Palsy, will be used for the following charity works: (i) improving infrastructure; (ii) providing medical materials and instruments; (iii) ensuring sustainable and clean energy use; (iv) increasing accommodating capacity, and food security. Thanks to your support, we will help 4,000 Children yearly in the rehabilitation clinic, to become healthy with the support of renewable cleantech energy.
