FARMERS HAVE KNOWN THAT SILAGE IS PLEASANT AND BENEFICIAL FOR LIVESTOCK
Within the framework of the project "Growing Vegetables" implemented by the AVEP public fund in Ton district, the members of the farming group prepared silos. This year, with the support of the project, in Kara-Koo, Tort-Kul, Bokonbaev villages and Vocational Lyceum, a total of 5 hectares of land were planted, and today they cut the land and filled 120 tons of silage.
This year, the members of the Shor-Bulak, Eshperov village farmers' group independently prepared silos.
In the Ton district, farmers who are not part of the project have also noticed that the fodder is attractive and useful for livestock, and have started to grow it on their own.
A combine harvester for harvesting and preparing corn for silage is also providing services to other farmers in the region.
This event was organized within the framework of the "Vegetable Growing" project implemented by the AVEP public fund and financed by the International Seed Fund (SPI - Seed Programs International).
