Masters improve their skills and knowledge
This week we would like to share with you a successful story of one of the masters, who graduated from a short-term training on the construction of energy-efficient stoves in the framework of the project G-STAR. Abakirov Maksat, who lives in the village of Kyzyl Asker, Chui oblast, shared his experience in improving the knowledge and skills gained in construction of energy-efficient stoves in rural areas. For the first time in his professional career, he tested a new technology that allows the house owner to use less wood or coal to heat the stove. Maksat demonstrated how he designed 3 stoves with a horizontal line of a chimney with a height of 5 meters and 10 centimeters, which connects the first and second (mansard) floor. A family has many children. He notes that every week receives at least 2 orders for stoves and on average he manages to fulfill orders for 50,000 soms. In his words, sometimes he does not have time to fulfill orders, in such situations he attracts local young people with construction skills to his team, thereby training them in practice and fulfilling orders. The G-STAR project team appreciated to Maksat for providing a quality service to the community and helping young builders learn new skills and knowledge, and wished him a successful continuation of his professional career.
