Effects of house insulation and energy effective furnace
February 9, 2018 in the Prigorodnoye village carried out monitoring and thermographic study of the house of Kirgizbaeva Rozgul, which was insulated during practical training on industrial materials and equipped with an energy efficient furnace. The thermographic study was carried out to check the quality of the insulation, as well as to determine the efficiency of the furnace. The outside air temperature at the time of the thermographic study of the house was -8C, also there was a slight breeze.
The survey was carried out with the TESTO 868 thermal imaging camera, which creates a more complete picture of the surface temperature of the surveyed object in the form of an infra-red image.
Thermographic investigation of the thermal insulation of the outer walls, foundations and ceiling was carried out in compliance with technical norms and standards.
During the study, the thermal imager showed that the walls, ceilings and floors were insulated satisfactorily, and the heat exchange between the rooms and the street environment occurs mainly through the windows and the outer door.
According to the owner of the house, the effect of warming of the house is palpable, the consumption of coal decreased about three times, from 3 tons to 1 ton, and now there is no need for an additional electric heater.
The house was insulated in the framework of the G-STAR project with the financial support of the Branch ofifice Helvetas Swiss Intercorporation in the Kyrgyz Republic and the “Elim Barsynby” charity fund with the assistance of the local Ail Okmotu.
