From February 21 to February 25, 2022, AVEP PF conducted a training for trainers in the following areas within the framework of the “Ensuring Market Access” project:

• "Milk production"

• "Concept and essence of accounting"

• "Fundamentals of organizing and planning the activities of a farm / cooperative economy"

Regional trainers of PF "AVEP" took part in this training. The training was held in the form of lecture information, practical exercises. Participants showed themselves actively, often asked questions, discussed examples, offered their ideas.

The project is implemented by the Agricultural Projects Implementation Department.

In February 17, an introductory seminar on the project "Vegetable Production" was held in the village of Bokonbaevo. The seminar was attended by representatives of the Professional Lyceum No. 81, secondary schools named after. Zhangazieva villages of Kara-Koo and B. Mambetov of the village of Tort-Kul, farmer groups of the village of Eshperova and the village of Shor-Bulak. During the seminar, a plan of work to be carried out within the framework of the project, expected results were presented, and further action plans were developed. Considered and discussed estimates of small investments that will be provided within the framework of the project. Together with the participants of the seminar, the structure of the module on growing vegetables was developed.

The AVEP, in partnership with the Spiritual Board of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan, has announced the selection of madrasas for 2022 to continue the “Improving the skills of the youth of the madrassa in the use of digital technologies” project funded by the US Embassy in Kyrgyzstan. As a result:

• the Abdraim Kari madrassa in the village of Myrzaak, Uzgen district, Osh region,
• the Muaz Ibn Jabal madrassa in the city of Batken,
• the Abdizhapar Islamic Institute in the Kara-Suu district of the Osh region,
• the Al Farukh madrassa in the village of Koi-Tash, Alamudun district Chui region,
• “Ravza” madrassa in the village of Zhany-Jer, Sokuluk district, Chui region and
• “Chet tilder kyzdar madrassa” in the city of Talas

were selected to participate in the project “Development of Digital Skills of Young Madrasahs”. Now these madrassas will be able to provide their students with free computer literacy and English courses as part of the project.

PF AVEP started implementation of the project “Vegetable Production” with the financial support of Seed Fund International. The Project improves food security by diversifying and increasing the availability of imported and local varieties of vegetables. Vocational lyceum and secondary schools integrate vegetable growing courses into their curricula. On the basis of a professional lyceum, secondary schools and farmer groups, the demonstration plots will be established. Students and farmers will develop knowledge and skills related to growing vegetables. Also, within the framework of the project, women's groups will be created in the villages and will be trained in the cultivation, processing and storage of vegetables. All beneficiaries will be provided with seeds of imported varieties of vegetables. This will lead to an increase in the quantity and variety of vegetables available to vocational students, secondary schools and the wider community. Experimentation and breeding of new varieties of vegetables, a set of best practices in vegetable growing for the conditions of the Issyk-Kul region contribute to innovation in agriculture.

Based on the criteria developed within the framework of the project, secondary school named after B. Mambetov in the village of Tort-Kul, secondary school named after Zhangaziyev in the village Kara-Koo, Vocational School №81 in Bokonbaev village, farmer groups in Eshperova and Shor-Bulak were selected.
