In connection with the extension of the project “Improving the skills of young people in the madrasah in the use of digital technologies”, funded by the Embassy of the United States of America in Kyrgyzstan and implemented by the public fund “AVEP”, in selected madrasahs of Chui, Osh and Batken regions from March 19, 2022 started training for short-term courses for students of the madrasah. To date, 50 girls and 40 boys are enrolled in computer literacy courses, and 15 girls and 30 boys are enrolled in the English language course. Training courses are conducted by Oxford, Sekom, Bilim and Danida training centers.
Trainers who have completed ToT on vegetable growing conduct trainings for project participants. The project participants will gain skills in growing vegetables: preparing seeds for sowing, growing seedlings in greenhouses, preparing the soil, etc.
The project “Vegetable Production” funded by the International Seed Program (SPI - Seed Programs International) and implemented by PF AVEP.
Vegetable seeds provided within the framework of the project “Production of Vegetables” were planted for seedlings in greenhouses. The students of the professional lyceum in the village of Bokonbaevo sifted and prepared the soil in the greenhouse for growing seedlings of vegetables and planted the seeds in cups. The names of vegetables are written on plates and attached to each cup.
In demonstration plots created by farmer groups in the villages of Eshperov and Shor-Bulak, as well as in secondary schools in the villages of Tort-Kul and Kara-Koo, a simplified greenhouse was built and seeds for seedlings were sown.
