Within the framework of the M-STAR project, a training on business planning for madrassa teachers was organized. This training was attended by 12 teachers from 6 madrassas. Teachers actively participated in the training and acquired new skills in business planning. During the training there were also practical exercises. The trainer also showed participants various tools and techniques on the topic.
In September 20, 2019 the Ambassador of US in Kyrgyzstan Donald Lu had a visit to Talas city in order to get acquainted with the project “Madrasah Skills Training in Rural Areas” which is implemented by Public Fund AVEP. During the visit he met with the graduates and the director of the girls madrasah “Chet Tilder”.

We are happy to inform you that Public Fund AVEP was awarded and received a License and Distributer Agreement as a partner, non-profit organization for Kyrgyzstan from Cleantech Energy Systems (www.cleantech-kirgistan.org). AVEP strives in its activities to promote climate mitigation measures by introducing clean energy solutions, but also the priority areas include: water and infrastructure, skills development, rural economy development, good governance. The collaboration with Cleantech Energy Systems (CES) will give a boost widely to promote renewable energy technologies in Kyrgyzstan.

As part of the M-STAR project, fundraising training was organized for teachers of madrasas. During training, teachers practically developed their own project ideas and wrote them constructively. The trainer also showed the participants the SMM tools and demonstrated for what purposes it can be used. The training was very interesting, and the participants actively participated in the training.
