AVEP RECEIVED INTERNS OF THE "SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURAL FIELD CONSULTANT"

As part of the USAID Agrosooda project, participants of the “School of Field Agricultural Consultants” underwent an internship in AVEP PF. The interns participated in the ToT on vegetable growing, which took place in Issyk-Kul. Then they independently conducted trainings for farmer groups in the villages of Shor-Bulak and Eshperov, Ton rayon. The trainings were on the topic "Harvesting and storage of vegetable" and "Economic analysis of vegetable crops". The training was held at the proper level, the members of the farmer groups actively participated in the trainings with a great interest and, from their part, they supported the young interns.

MADRESSA STUDENTS ATTENDED IN ENGLISH COURSES AND RECEIVED CERTIFICATES

On May 10-11, 2022, within the framework of the project “Improving the Digital Skills of Madrasah youth” implemented by the AVEP Public Foundation with the financial support of the US Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic, an event was organized to award certificates to graduates of English language courses at Al-Faruh and Ravza madrassas. To date, 15 boys and 15 girls, in total of 30 students from these madrassas have graduated English language courses and received certificates from the Oxford Training Center.

TRAININGS ON "LIFE SKILLS" ARE PASSED IN THE MADRESSA

On April 25-26, the AVEP Public Foundation held an online training "Life Skills" (ToT) for madrasah teachers participating in the project "Improving the digital technologies of young people in the madrasah". ToT participants noted that this module, which contains the necessary skills for the future life of madrasah students, is a matter of time and will be taught to all madrasah graduates.

Improving the skills of young people in the madrasah

In connection with the extension of the project “Improving the skills of young people in the madrasah in the use of digital technologies”, funded by the Embassy of the United States of America in Kyrgyzstan and implemented by the public fund “AVEP”, in selected madrasahs of Chui, Osh and Batken regions from March 19, 2022 started training for short-term courses for students of the madrasah. To date, 50 girls and 40 boys are enrolled in computer literacy courses, and 15 girls and 30 boys are enrolled in the English language course. Training courses are conducted by Oxford, Sekom, Bilim and Danida training centers.

TRAININGS ARE HELD FOR PARTICIPANTS OF THE VEGETABLE PRODUCTION PROJECT

Trainers who have completed ToT on vegetable growing conduct trainings for project participants. The project participants will gain skills in growing vegetables: preparing seeds for sowing, growing seedlings in greenhouses, preparing the soil, etc.

The project “Vegetable Production” funded by the International Seed Program (SPI - Seed Programs International) and implemented by PF AVEP.
