Date: December 11, 2019
Location: National Library named after Alykula Osmonova, Bishkek
This event is held under the slogan “Listen to whoever is near!” And, first of all, is aimed at uniting representatives of various religious faiths of Kyrgyzstan and promoting interfaith harmony and tolerance.
ConFest will bring together representatives of 16 religious organizations - members of the Interfaith Council of Kyrgyzstan, which operates with the support of the State Committee for Religious Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and is a platform for building dialogue between religious organizations, state bodies and the public.
This event is open to the participation of citizens. You can learn about the features and specifics of the social work of each of the organizations; more than 10 open creative and informative workshops will be held; for example, a workshop on artistic painting with glaze of gingerbread and cookies, on creating souvenirs from leather; master classes in the beautiful tying of scarves and mehendi paintings, as well as information lessons on healthy lifestyle and on working with drug and alcohol addicts.
In parallel to the master class, representatives of religious organizations will gather a yurt together - this symbolic event will show that we, despite our religious views, are citizens of one country - Kyrgyzstan.
