The Embassy of Finland supports people of the Issyk-Kul in the field of energy-efficient technologies
The house of the widow of Kalykova Indira, who lives in the village of Ichke-Bulun, Djety-Oguz district, Issyk-Kul oblast, is warmed. At the moment she alone brings up 4 daughters. For the warming of the house spent 210 000 soms, which of 83 000 soms were financed through the project, and the remaining expenses were covered by the Public Association AMETiS.
The project "Vocational training in green building skills" since 2016 in cooperation with Public Association AMETiS, the Training Center "Uspeh" and with VS 14 train youth in the countryside on construction of innovative green skills. In practical lessons they warming the houses and build energy efficient furnaces, i.e. provide free assistance to low-income families.
The project "Vocational training in green building skills" in the Issyk-Kul region has been implemented since 2015 by the Public Fund AVEP with the support of the Embassy of Finland in Astana. Within the framework of the project, 9 homes have been insulated and 6 energy-efficient furnaces for poor families have been built. Brigades which are developed by graduates completed 39 orders for house warming and 29 orders for the construction of energy efficient furnaces.
The purpose of this project is to help reduce the carbon dioxide emissions to the atmosphere through energy-efficient houses and the construction of energy-efficient stoves, and also through energy-efficient technologies to help the common citizen save his family budget.
